Overview

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer who's excited to help shape the future of how we work, connect, and serve our guests. In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and services that keep our business running smoothly and securely. You'll play an essential part in advancing our hybrid cloud environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.

You'll collaborate with a remarkable team of infrastructure, application, and security experts to design and maintain cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and ready to grow with our business. You'll bring ideas to life through automation, infrastructure, and continuous improvement.

Additional Duties Include:

Cloud Architecture & Deployment

  • Design, build and manage secure and scalable cloud environments using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions that will support enterprise applications, data platforms, and services.
  • Define and implement standards for resource naming, tagging, governance and security policies.

Microsoft Cloud Suite Administration

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, storage accounts, Key Vault, networking, and security groups.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Fabric, B2C, and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Support user access, licensing, authentication including MFA ,conditional access, SSO, SAML, OATH, and policy configuration within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with end-user support teams to address service issues, provisioning, and changes related to Microsoft 365 applications.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

  • Build and maintain automated pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Implement configuration management using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline administration tasks.
  • Create and maintain version-controlled cloud configuration repositories and documentation.

Cloud Security & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor cloud security best practices, including encryption, identity management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and audit logging.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies, including PCI, HIPPA and data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor for threats and vulnerabilities across cloud platforms.
  • Proficient with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Systems.
  • Proficient with spam filtering and email security platforms (Defender, Proofpoint, Mimecast).

Monitoring, Optimization & Support

  • Configure and maintain cloud-native monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize costs, and right-size cloud resources.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for cloud services and participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis and improvement efforts.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application development teams to support cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  • Assist with hybrid infrastructure integration between on-prem systems (e.g., VMware, Active Directory) and cloud services.
  • Participate in project planning, migration efforts, and operational documentation.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or Azure (O365 Administration.
  • Proven experience in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (VNet, VPN, NSG, load balancing) and cloud-based storage, compute, and identity services.

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange Installation, configuration and support, Office 365 configuration and support

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • Possess a current state driver's license and valid insurance with the ability to travel to business locations as needed.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional, preferred.
  • CompTIA Server+, or equivalent preferred.

Pay Range

USD $82,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
