About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists the Lending Department with all imaging and scanning of loan documents; collateral insurance and title policy tracking; and file room organization.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Upload and index all documentation into Synergy Capture - bank's imaging softwar and nCino DocMan, as applicable.
  • Move documentation between software platforms as required
  • Assist with periodic reviews for HMDA and CRA source documentation
  • Perform secondary review of scanned files
  • Perform collateral insurance tracking, scanning, and filing
  • Perform title insurance tracking, receipt and approval by account officer, scanning and filing
  • Ensure Collateral Tracking status is updated weekly in both Jack Henry and nCino, as applicable.
  • Ensure file room organization
  • Assist with file retrieval for loan exam(s)
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Perform other duties, as may be assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Banking experience preferred

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Must have the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Possess a high degree of investigative, analytical skills - be detail orientated
  • Good knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing /descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Light work. The employee is constantly required to stand and walk. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Mental Requirements:

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
