Job Description

The Visa North America Value Added Services (VAS) Sales Engineering team is seeking a Sales Engineering Analyst with experience in an Issuer solutions environment. A successful candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven track record of working in a team oriented/collaborative environment.

The Sales Engineering Analyst must possess and maintain a high level of knowledge in issuer solutions including issuer processing systems and value-added products and services, as well as understand the necessary positioning, data and analytics requirements to support net new wins and client retention.

  • Build knowledge on specific issuer solutions, including loyalty, post-purchase, digital enablement, processing and network products and become the SME for a focused few products

  • Lead the RFP process for Visa VAS and providing accurate/thorough and professional responses for prospective and renewing clients.

  • Manage the RFPIO tool, including ongoing content reviews and updates.

  • Maintain knowledge across all Issuer Solutions and Value-Added Services.

  • Assist the Manager with educating the sales team on any new trends or solution sets.

  • Assist with client ideation and white boarding sessions, including research and documentation.

  • Make recommendations and maintain materials and tools for current sales environment

  • Support the cross sales effort to increase Visa processing volume and expand penetration of VAS products and solutions by building customized sales plans.

  • Support the net new sales team throughout the sales cycle including occasional collaborative client presentations (on-site and virtually).

  • Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with clients and within Visa.

  • Support various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned.

Unique Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Operational and IT payment processing environments.

  • Knowledge of the processing environment, key players, and market positions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships across all levels of management.

  • Keen interest in innovation and technology.

  • Exceptional ability to manage & foster internal and external resources and cross-functional relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in an environment synonymous with change.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Prior experience in sales engineering is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Product,Payments and/or Credit Processing
  • Initiating, leading, managing the RFP process
  • API knowledgeincludingSwagger, Postman, Rest, JSON
  • Experience with documentation and creating workflows
  • Tools/Methodologies: PPT, AI, Jira, Align, Visio
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 121,300.00 to 171,350.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
