Summary of the Job: About This Role: 1. Develop New Investment Ideas: Analyze and propose new investment ideas for our fixed income strategies. Conduct fundamental and structural security research, combined with relative value analysis to form recommendations. Prepare research reports and supporting documentation and present recommendations to portfolio managers. 2. Ongoing Research and Surveillance: Conduct ongoing reviews of existing holdings across our fixed income strategies from a credit, structural and relative value perspective, and monitor sector and industry trends. 3. Investment Committee Meetings: Actively participate in investment committee meetings to improve the overall quality of our research and investment process. Constructively critique the analysis of peers and defend your investment ideas within the quantitative, qualitative and business outlook framework. 4. Trading: Assist in executing trades and building relationships with brokers and other market participants 5. Client/Vendor Relationships: Assist with research and preparation of materials for presentations to current and prospective clients. Aid in maintaining vendor relationships as needed. The Ideal Candidate for This Role: * 7+ years of fixed income securities analysis experience * BS/BA degree and CFA Charterholder (or progress/interest toward the CFA charter) * In depth knowledge of the investment industry, finance, accounting, and economics. * Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, and attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Secondary Qualifications * Preference for experience in securitized product sectors (ABS/CMBS/RMBS) * Experience using Bloomberg and/or other fixed income analytical tools * Exposure to BondEdge or other fixed income portfolio management applicationsCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $124,343.00-$211,384.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level. Work Environment:It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
