POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lease-up Regional Manager will be responsible for meeting financial goals for their portfolio of properties and developing strategic initiatives for ensuring growth of net operating income. The successful candidate is driven with a high level of personal ownership. This individual will lead the lease-up of multiple properties at the same time, balancing competing priorities and managing the urgency that comes with the role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Responsible for identifying and developing resolutions to meet occupancy objectives.
  2. Develops aggressive and effective marketing solutions.
  3. Partners with Talent Acquisition to recruit and hire qualified new hires; and then trains and develops site staff.
  4. Ensures all reporting is complete and accurate.
  5. Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to at all properties within portfolio.
  6. Visits properties to ensure that goals are being met, site moral is good, and construction is on schedule.
  7. Walks units periodically that are ready to be turned over to management to ensure they meet our standards.
  8. Partners with the Construction team to accept units and build delivery schedule.
  9. Demonstrates strong professionalism and integrity while representing Dominium.
  10. Other projects or responsibilities that may be as assigned by supervisor


QUALIFICATIONS:



  1. A proven track record of success in overseeing a portfolio of six (6) or more affordable properties (2+ years of experience as multi-site supervisor required). New Construction experience is preferred.
  2. Must be able to communicate well at both community and corporate levels.
  3. Ability to communicate in English clearly with others orally and in writing.
  4. Must possess a willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
  5. Proven sales leadership experience to include sales training, goal setting, and performance management.
  6. The ideal candidate must have a strong background and thorough knowledge with Tax Credit and Market Rate properties.
  7. Strong experience with compliance, file audits, and file approvals.
  8. Strong reporting, analytical, budgeting, problem solving, and supervisory skills, as well as solid technology skills and the ability to multi-task.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs, and prior Yardi software experience strongly preferred.
  10. Valid driver's license, ability to drive and maintain personal insurance.
