Salary Range
$35,600-$55,000

Position Summary
The Investigation Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development and implementation of high-quality educational reviews related to incident investigations within the developmental disabilities field. Working under general supervision, this role is responsible for the design, execution, and evaluation of educational quality reviews aligned with Certified Investigator Training standards.

The Investigation Specialist maintains content and supporting materials for quality reviews and adjusts review methodologies in response to evolving workforce development needs, investigative standards, and regulations governing Developmental Disability Programs.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Education and Experience
*Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education,
*At least 3 years' experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or any disability (either directly or indirectly)
*At least 2 years of experience working as a certified investigator; criminal or civil investigative experience; and/ or quality management.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities
*Strong working knowledge of Excel and web-based data platforms.
*Knowledge and experience related to investigations, training, and curriculum development.
*Knowledge and experience related to human services and people with disabilities.
*Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications, ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
*Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
*Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
*Ability to analyze and solve problems
*Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
*Able to work independently while maintaining strong daily communication with supervisors and team
*Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
*Skilled in managing responsibilities independently in a virtual workspace
*Able to manage and protect sensitive information in accordance with confidentiality policies
*Position requires occasional statewide and interstate travel

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
