Description

Location:Statewide Corrections - Spectrum's Medication of Addiction Treatment (MAT)

Schedule:Full-time, Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary based on needs of program

Pay rate:$80,000-$90,000/annually

TheTraineris responsible for:



  • Overseeing, developing, and implementing competency-based training for all staff working in the MA DOC, medication for addiction treatment (MAT) services.
  • Focusing on training nursing staff in essential clinical skills, including safe medication administration, venipuncture (blood draws) and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).
  • Promoting internal and external training opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization, including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.



Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Licensure/Certification - Must have a current MA Registered Nurse license and CPR with basic life support certification.
  • Prior teaching, training or staff development experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with populations affected by substance use and/or mental health disorder(s).
  • Current CPR/BLS trainer certification and/or prior phlebotomy experience, preferred.
  • Prior experience in correctional healthcare and/or substance use disorder and mental health treatment including OTP medication administration, preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
