 Summary of Position:
 Plans, develops, coordinates, and provides recruitment services to middle schools, high schools, adult learners, organizations and special events. Flexible scheduling and extensive travel is required on a weekly basis including nights and some weekends.
 
 This is a benefit eligible 2 year limited term position with an Adult Student focus.
 
   Essential Functions
  
 
   1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required.
 2. Perform office functions which may include, but are not limited to: respond to internal/external customers and staff; create, modify, proofread and edit documents, records, and reports using College standard software; maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing system; monitor inventory and budget information; schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings and/or appointments.
 
 3. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
 
 4. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.
 
 5. Developmental Coaching - Supporting Actions May Include:
 
    Utilize the established relationship owner model and engage in coaching practices with all student interactions, including referral to appropriate on-campus and external resourcesWork in collaboration with the deans, division staff, faculty, and student services staff to promote, facilitate and ensure seamless, student-centered service, and individual student success designed to enhance enrollmentDiscuss and reinforce linkages and relationships between college programs and career pathwaysInterpret and provide rational for college policies, procedures, and requirementsInterpret and understand guidelines, advise and provide support for Dual Credit programs by providing information to students, parents, and counselors, helping to determine appropriate courses, and assisting with registration questions. (High School focus) or provide support for Credit for Prior Learning program by providing information to prospective students (Adult focus) or provide guidance on course planning based on transfer options (Transfer focus). 6. Data Collection/Analysis - Supporting Actions May Include:
 
 
    Utilize the CRM recruitment system to track all facets of the student enrollment journeyDetermine student needs for services and monitor caseload in order to maintain or increase recruitment conversation rateAnalyze recruitment data to identify trends, gaps, potential solutions and develop recruitment strategies to best reach target marketsCompile data, generate reports, and prepare documentation for planning and communication purposes 7. Caseload Management - Supporting Actions May Include:
 
 
    Assess, develop and implement appropriate strategies based on individual student needs to assist students throughout the student life cycle.Provide on-going support to prospective students in accordance with the needs and strategies identified 8. Recruitment Events and Coordination - Supporting Actions May Include:
 
 
    .Represent Western at various events including but not limited to Wisconsin Career Education Fairs (WEF), Career Fairs, College Nights, Preview Days, Open House, and tours.(High School focus) or Career Fairs, Community Events, Business meetings, Open House, and tours.(Adult focus)Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with faculty, staff, and administration in support of admissions initiatives, up-to-date course information, program admission capacities, and program outcomes 
 
   Qualifications
  
 
   
   Minimum Qualifications: 
    Associate's degree in related field OREducation combined with appropriate occupational experience in related field totaling 2 yrs. OROccupational experience in related field totaling 2 yrs Preferred Qualifications: Required Certification/Licenses: 
    Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as needed to travel to various Western locations, schools and other work-related sites within Western's district.

   This position reports to: Manager - Outreach and Admissions Starting salary range based on education and experience: $23.61 - $30.24 This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
