Job Description

Position Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to the Airfoils Division for the operations, maintenance, availability, sustainability and compliance of hosting platforms, networks, storage, disaster recovery systems and other critical IT infrastructure. This will include the network and network equipment for their assigned business, outside vendors, and connections to other PCC facilities. The position will ensure each component of the network is reliable, available, and meets company standards. Ina addition, the role will monitor the network functionality daily by assessing performance, diagnosing issues and implementing changes as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a long-term plan for the constant improvement and modernization of division infrastructure to include upgrades, migrations, availability/disaster recovery and new technology adoption.
  • Lead the division infrastructure staff in the monitoring, operation, and maintenance of hosting platforms and other IT environment infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in support of IT policy, IT asset management, OS and other infrastructure license management, vendor management and change management.
  • Participate in change/release management, team leadership, project management and other ITSM-related business rhythms.
  • Collaborate with site Network and IT Management teams to maintain a high-integrity IT environment across the division.
  • Serve as the principal IT Infrastructure liaison to the corporate enterprise IT organization
  • Provide senior level support for incident and problem escalation and resolution.
  • Ensure that all IT Policies that govern IT Infrastructure and Operations are met.
  • Implement new technologies and methods to increase the effectiveness of users.
  • Establish and manage a portfolio of IT infrastructure projects of varying sizes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study is preferred.
  • 8+ years in supporting IT infrastructure components and systems: servers, storage, networks, operating systems, and virtual servers.
  • Travel required: up to 10%
