Job Description:

Entegris is currently seeking an Analytical Services & QA Labs Manager to join our Microcontamination Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility.

The Analytical Services & QA Labs Manager will be responsible for the operation oftheanalyticalservices and QAlaboratoriesfor the gas purification sub business unit, as well assupervisionand technical leadershipof laboratory staff.The labssupport internal and external customers, for which accurate and timely results are expected. The Lab Manager is responsible for instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, and lab compliance with necessary quality systems and industry standards.The environment isfast-pacedand will require strongorganizationalskills to manageday-to-dayactivities and scheduling. Communication within the lab as well as with customers is critical to success in this role.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct supervision toyour team of Analytical ChemistsandLaboratoryTechnicians.
  • Providetraining,mentoring guidance,and career developmentfor your team.
  • Serve as Analytical Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required, internal and external.
  • Identify and drive laboratory improvements - safety, process, quality, capability.
  • Maintain a safe laboratory environment through compliance withEntegrispolicies.
  • Author and/or reviewlaboratory relevant documentation, such as analytical methods, work instructions, test specifications, test reports.
  • Report Lab performance metrics to management.
  • Work internally with other Analytical lab stakeholders toestablishconsistent lab practices.

What We Seek:

  • AMaster's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with gas purification systems within the semiconductor industry,demonstratingstrong technicalknowledgeand troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both expert and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and team development.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
