We're looking for a Production Supervisor (Second Shift) who's ready to take ownership of a talented assembly team and ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.  A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience in leading production teams will be considered. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to communicate orally with management, peers, subordinates, employees, and contractors. Regular use of a variety of measuring tools, the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information. Heavy lifting is not expected. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally is required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, or measuring tools is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings. Working Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Compliance Statement
