Description As a Computer Operator, you will be tasked with supporting users with their computer systems by working to maintain and improve important computer processes in a help desk environment. Key Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining ID's and passwords conducive to the Mortgage and Banking Centers within a time managed system created from a Help Desk System Running Jobs requested by programmers and business units on a daily basis Maintenance of daily checklists for daily operations Exposure to IBM Mainframe Operations Printing secure documents daily for business units in high volume Answering calls from business units to submit job requests or reset passwords 40 hours per week (Periodic overtime when needed) The standard schedule for the position is Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm. Candidates must also be flexible to work alternate hours as business needs require. Position Requirements Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Outlook Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Experience in Mainframe Operations is desired but not required Ability to prioritize critical activities and assignments Will need to have a Team Player attitude and willing to work with others Frequent contact with co-workers and vendors College degree preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
