The Material Management Shift Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, supervision and coordination of materials management staff and activities. The area includes medical supply distribution, receiving, equipment distribution, remote inventory management, decontamination activities, customer service and emergency carts.



Hours and Location:

40 Hours (Full Time)

Day Shift- hours between 7am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Education Requirements:




  • Work requires the completion of two years of college or relevant combination of education and experience in order to prepare reports, perform calculations, maintain records, and deal effectively


    with staff and customers.



License:




  • Must obtain CMRP or CPM within one (1) year of being hired into the position.




Work Experience:



  • A minimum of two (2) years materials management experience in a healthcare or materials distribution related environment. Supervisory and health care supply chain experience preferred.



Knowledge:



  • Comprehensive understanding of staff supervision and shift work. Knowledge of receiving, distribution and customer service activities obtained by working in a healthcare environment as it relates to medical supplies and portable equipment. Knowledge of the decontamination of equipment. Familiarity with Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) and various information technology support systems.



Skills:



  • Analytical ability to efficiently supervise the ordering, management, distribution, decontamination and utilization of supplies, materials and equipment. Demonstrated proficiency in problem identification, analysis, implementing and/or carrying out solutions and providing measuring results or data to senior management as requested.


Salary Range: Minimum 19.60/hour - Maximum 34.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
