Responsible for the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) across the organization.

What You'll Do

The AMP Coordinator develops, implements, and improves Asset Management Plans to ensure assets deliver optimal performance and reliability, in alignment with the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). This role partners with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency, risk management, and compliance, using data-driven practices for consistent asset care and continuous improvement. Other duties include:

  • Live Dyno Nobel values by promoting a strong safety, integrity, and operational excellence culture in all asset management activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, policies, and standards for all assets.
  • Develop and annually update detailed asset management plans (AMPs) for all asset classes, keeping documentation current.
  • Align AMPs with the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and organizational goals to support company strategy.
  • Coordinate and gather input from operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance to ensure plans reflect cross-functional needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive lifecycle strategies for acquisition, operation, maintenance, supply, and disposal of assets.
  • Monitor life-limiting factors and integrate risks into planning and budget forecasts.
  • Set asset performance benchmarks, track progress, and address gaps or risks with measurable mitigation actions.
  • Develop and refine SMART asset management objectives and KPIs with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate engagement with internal and external parties, ensuring AMP priorities are clear and actionable.
  • Organize stakeholder activities, including audits and planning workshops, for alignment and progress tracking.
  • Link AMP initiatives to operational and capital budgets in close collaboration with finance.
  • Review and document AMPs to meet all internal and external policy and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and change logs for traceability

What We're Looking For:

  • Associates degree in Asset Management, Business, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, or a related field desired
  • 3+ years of experience in asset management, maintenance planning, or capital project coordination.
  • Experience in explosives manufacturing or heavy chemical manufacturing desired
  • Understanding of ISO 55000 based asset management principles
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
