What You'll Do

As a SAP CMMS Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module. This role ensures accurate data management, supports maintenance planning and execution, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize asset reliability and system performance. Other duties include:

  • Live Dyno Nobel's values by fostering robust safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company standards.
  • Uphold operational discipline by rigorously applying safety-critical maintenance protocols and company procedures.
  • Manage SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) master data, including equipment, task lists, and maintenance schedules.
  • Use the 8 wastes help identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to processes and maintenance planning workflow to maximize system utilization.
  • Manage user access, authorizations, and system security for maintenance processes, ensuring IT policy compliance.
  • Safeguard data integrity and ensure consistent standards across SAP PM and CMMS records.
  • Monitor and report maintenance KPIs, including safety critical, preventive work ratio, preventive predictive maintenance, work order backlog, schedule compliance and more. Using power BI and other analysis tools.
  • Help develop and improve preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies in SAP PM.
  • Train and support plant and field users on system procedures, best practices, and reporting tools.
  • Author and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training resources to support operational knowledge transfer.
  • Work with IT and Operations to implement system upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., mobile, IoT).
  • Provide analytics and actionable insights to leadership for performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for SAP PM, representing maintenance and asset care in cross-functional projects and audits.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP PM or related modules
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of maintenance process and asset management principles
  • Proficiency in SAP reporting tools (SAP Query, BI, Fiori, etc)
  • Experience in training and supporting end users
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or ISO 5500 standards
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
