What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Assistant Project Manager to join our Public Transit Practice in Newark NJ! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Newark office. Working with thepublic transit teamatGFT means shaping thefuture of transportation, delivering projects that improve mobility, safety, and accessibilityfor millions of passengers nationwide. What you'll be challenged to do: The Project Manager will be a dynamic problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively deal with conflicting demands. This individual will be a member of the GFT's team and will support work on a large-scale transportation project and will interface between the design and project controls teams. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* EXAMPLE: Master's Degree with a Geotechnical focus is strongly preferred
* EXAMPLE: Field experience with construction observation for bridge projects, highway projects, deep foundations, and sinkhole and landslide remediation projects
* EXAMPLE: Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $145,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
