| Position Overview 
 The Mobilram Pile Driver Operator is responsible for operating a Mobilram (telescopic leader rig) to install piles, sheet piles, and other deep foundation or shoring systems. This role requires advanced equipment operation skills, knowledge of piling methods, and a commitment to safety and productivity in geotechnical and foundation construction projects.
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 Equipment Operation
 
 
 
 Operate a Mobilram pile driving rig and related attachments (vibratory hammers, rotary drives, impact hammers, etc.).Install driven piles, drilled piles, sheet piles, and soil improvement systems per project requirements.Conduct equipment pre-checks, monitor machine performance, and report mechanical issues.Assist in rig setup, positioning, and demobilization on site.Adjust piling operations to accommodate soil conditions and design specifications.
 Site Work & Production
 
 
 
 Interpret construction drawings, pile layouts, and survey control points.Drive or drill piles to the required depth, angle, and alignment.Monitor production parameters (driving logs, torque, penetration rates, refusal criteria).Work closely with spotters, riggers, and ground crews for safe and accurate installations.Support general site operations when the rig is not in use.
 Safety & Compliance
 
 
 
 Follow all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety policies.Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintain logs.Ensure work zones are secured during piling operations.Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses immediately.
 Coordination & Communication
 
 
 
 Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and surveyors.Report daily production, equipment usage, and site issues.
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating Mobilram or similar piling rigs (e.g., Bauer, Liebherr, ABI).Strong knowledge of pile driving, drilling, and shoring methods.Ability to read and interpret pile driving logs, geotechnical reports, and drawings.Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent training.OSHA 10/30 certification required.Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and assist with rig maintenance.Ability to work in outdoor construction environments under variable conditions.
