Description and Requirements
Role Overview & Objectives
We are seeking a visionary Brand Partnerships & Collections Manager to position Motorola at the forefront of culture, fashion, and lifestyle. This role will drive iconic collaborations and product collections that elevate brand aspiration, fuel consumer engagement, and deliver measurable business impact. Success will be defined by:
  • Launching breakthrough partnerships that expand Motorola's relevance beyond tech.
  • Delivering collections with strong consumer resonance, expressed through design, narrative, and cultural alignment.
  • Driving brand lift, engagement, and sales growth tied directly to partnerships and collections.
  • Building a repeatable partnership model that proves ROI and strengthens Motorola's premium positioning over time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnerships - Identify, build, and manage high-value collaborations across fashion, lifestyle, and cultural sectors aligned with Motorola's brand and product strategy.
  • Negotiations & Alignment - Lead contract negotiations with a focus on brand equity, product competitiveness, and financial outcomes.
  • Collection Narrative & Storytelling - Define themes, target audiences, and creative direction for key product collections, ensuring cultural relevance and design excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - Serve as the central connector across Product, Design, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and regional/global Sales teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Unified Brand Messaging - Ensure consistent brand storytelling across all touchpoints-product, campaign, retail, and after-sales.
  • Performance & ROI - Establish and track KPIs (brand lift, engagement rates, customer acquisition, sales revenue, market share) and use insights to continuously refine strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, product marketing, or brand management, ideally within tech, consumer electronics, fashion/luxury, or lifestyle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven success in negotiating and delivering high-impact partnerships from inception to launch.
  • Strong experience shaping product collections, partnerships, or alliances that merge culture, commerce, and design.
  • Exceptional storytelling and strategy skills with a track record of creating compelling narratives and presentations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into clear business outcomes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a global perspective.
  • MBA preferred.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $140k - 180K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
