This is a hybrid role, and the pay range for this position is between $28.85 and $36.05 per hour.

How You'll Perform the Role

  • Own the full cycle accounts payable process:
  • Review and process large volume of vendor bills while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Weekly payable runs
  • Manage relationships with vendors
  • Maintain accounts payable files and approval requests
  • Review and maintain an accurate and up to date AP Aging report
  • Provide daily and monthly cash balance reporting to Corporate
  • Compile and review positive pay files escalating exceptions
  • Participate in monthly close by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, providing appropriate documentation, and ensuring accounts are in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform account analysis, investigate reporting discrepancies, and communicate issues as they occur
  • Assist in monthly financial reporting and research variances between actual and budgeted expenses
  • Aid in the cash disbursements software implementation
  • Identify gaps in processes and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Provide necessary information to support our external financial audits
  • Manage office supplies, incoming mail, support events, ensure office is properly stocked, and act as main point of contact for simple maintenance and supervisor contracted building maintenance or repairs.



What We Need From You

  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting
  • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system
  • Experience with preparing journal entries and reconciliations
  • Attention to detail, the ability to work independently within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member
  • The ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply this knowledge in a variety of situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience with intermediate Excel skills (xlookups, pivot tables, sumifs, if statements)
  • The ability to solve problems both autonomously and collaboratively as a team
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions relating to projects as assigned
  • Proven interest and demonstrates past involvement in environmentally responsible causes, issues and organizations
