We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of auditing and monitoring quality requirements, ensuring that our standards are consistently met and exceeded.Roles and Responsibilities
      
        
 Receive and store incoming materials and productsExamine incoming goods and material for defects, damage, and discrepancies with documentationConduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming materials, parts, and components according to approved procedures, purchase documentation, and engineering drawingsVerify quantities and specifications match purchase orders and quality standards utilizing appropriate tools and fixtures per approved procedures and specificationsExecute quality inspection tasks in MES to ensure timely and accurate inventory controlDocument inspection results, generate reports, maintain accurate and organized inspection recordsIdentify, isolate, and place non-conforming materials and products on hold in the designated quarantine areaWork closely with quality, production, engineering, and purchasing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Participate in 8D investigations of nonconformances as well as support 5S eventsParticipate in quality audits and assist in the continuous improvement of inspection processes and quality assurance program
Requirements
      
        
 Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing facilityExperience with inspection techniques and use of precision measuring instruments such as meters, gauges, calipersProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standardsExcellent analytical and technical skills to interpret blueprints and determine the best method to be used to inspect the part. Proficiency in GD&T is desiredAdhere to company procedures, ISO 9001:2015 guidelines, and other quality standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues is requiredMay involve lifting, moving, and standing for extended periodsAbility to operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks may be required
