Accounts Receivable Analyst Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist that will be responsible for managing the full-cycle AR process, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations. This role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely customer payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume environments and be comfortable working with ERP systems and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting during month-end and year-end close cycles. Apply payments accurately to customer accounts, including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wire transfers. Generate and post invoices from shipment files or ERP systems. Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and resolve billing discrepancies through direct customer communication. Reconcile AR ledger with bank statements and general ledger entries. Prepare AR aging reports, financial statements, and updates for management. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records for audits and month-end close. Review credit applications, determine payment terms, and assess customer risk profiles in alignment with company policy. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, chargebacks, and customer disputes through collaboration with internal teams and clients. Post payments from various sources (checks, ACH, wire, credit cards), reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate ledger entries. Generate AR aging reports, collection forecasts, and ad-hoc financial summaries for leadership review. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 2-5 years in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in manufacturing or logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, MS Dynamics NAV), Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), and billing software. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle high-volume tasks.
