Temporary Lawyer Recruiting Administrator - International Law Firm (NYC)
Location: Onsite NYC
Pay rate: $45-55 per hour

A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Temporary Lawyer Recruiting Administrator to join their New York office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to contribute to the firm's strategic talent acquisition efforts. You will work closely with the Lawyer Recruiting and Development department, handling complex and confidential functions with a high degree of proficiency.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will be a key player in recruiting operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Entry-Level Recruitment: Oversee and manage the full cycle of entry-level lawyer recruitment for the New York office, including coordinating on-campus interviews (OCI), scheduling firm-hosted interviews, managing applicant materials, and communicating with candidates.
  • Lateral Recruiting Support: Provide dedicated administrative and logistical support for lateral associate hiring, specifically assisting the Capital Finance and Real Estate teams.
  • Administrative & System Management: Manage applicant tracking systems (LawCruit preferred) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate data. Prepare confidential reports, correspondence, and recruitment materials.
  • Logistics & Events: Handle all logistical details related to recruitment events, interviews, and follow-up activities.
  • Confidential Functions: Perform a variety of complex and confidential tasks, acting as a professional and discrete representative of the firm.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of job-related experience is required. Prior experience in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization is strongly preferred.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), particularly LawCruit, is a significant plus.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
