Workday HRIS Analyst

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Workday HRIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Workday and be certified in both Workday Security and Workday Human Capital Management (HCM). This role is responsible for supporting, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our Workday platform to meet evolving business needs, with a particular focus on security, HR processes, data integrity, and end-user support.

Key Essential Functions/Duties:

• Lead the collaborative team through the upcoming Workday migration to the cloud.

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday modules, with a primary focus on HCM and Security.

• Subject matter expert for Workday processes, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies within the Workday environment.

• Prepare, deliver and schedule Workday reports. Generate / analyze HR reports to support fact-based decisions.

• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, implement changes, and optimize workflows.

• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency.

• Stay current on Workday updates, new features, and industry trends, proactively suggesting enhancements. This includes leading the review of the bi-annual releases to prioritize and oversee the updates.

• Support integration efforts as needed.

• Document configurations, processes, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing and compliance.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

• At least 3-5 years of direct experience with Workday, including configuration, administration, and support.

• Certified in Workday Security and HCM are required. Experience and certifications in other areas preferred.

• Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system security principles required.

• Proven ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions within Workday required.

• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills required.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools.

• Project management experience in HRIS or related systems.

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

• Familiarity with change management and testing methodologies.
