Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strategic development of employer relationships for the purpose of securing new Kelsey ACO Plan accounts
  • Will focus on lead generation, employer engagement and collaboration with the KelseyCare Broker Channel Sales team to secure new business in the mid-market to jumbo market segment, and management of all activities related to relationship development, including engagement of physicians to assist in the development process, educational tours, preparation of specific materials designed to advance prospect knowledge of the Kelsey-Seybold ACO, and RFP and proposal development leading to successful new sales
  • Possess a solid knowledge of, and experience in, relationship marketing, sales, and business development, as well as an in-depth understanding of health plan sales to deliver programs and services
  • Regular activities associated with this position will include data gathering/analysis, employer-relationship development, responsibility for turnkey RFP response development and process management, development, and strategic growth planning on behalf of ACO plan
  • Collaborate with broker-focused Health Plan Sales Managers to secure new accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or marketing
  • 1+ years of experience selling and marketing direct to employers, including human resources directors, purchasing managers, brokers or TPAs for financial services, health insurance or human resources products
  • Detailed knowledge of the RFP process, sales planning and execution processes
  • General Lines Agent: Life, Accident, Health and HMO - State of TX
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent listening, negotiating and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to engage, collaborate and build solid relationships with customers, especially at the executive level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results focused with proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results against specific timelines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
