Experience on human/mouse blood and tissue samples We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate scientist in cellular immunology to join our team in Immunology Discovery department based in Cambridge MA. The candidate will focus on performing in vitro biological assays, testing therapeutic antibodies in functional cellular assays with basic cell biology and immunology skills. The position offers a unique opportunity for a talented scientist to work in a dynamic, innovative, and multi-disciplinary environment to develop their career at the interface of basic research and early drug discovery. The scientist will be responsible for conceptualization, designing strategies to make therapeutic reagents, execution and analysis with the overall aim of promoting innovative drug discovery. The position requires ability to work independently, have excellent technical, written and oral communication skills and work very well in a collaborative team environment. Qualifications and requirements:The applicant must have a bachelor's or master's degree in Biological Science or related field with 2-3 years of experience in biotech or pharma set up.Extensive hands-on experience in primary human T/B cell culture, functional assays, in vitro ADCC/ADCP assay. Motivated to execute well-thought and well-planned in vitro experiments using the tool reagents generated.Hands-on experience in multi-color flow cytometry with both, handling flow cytometer (Canto, MACS Quant) and independently analyzing the data using analytical software such as FlowJo is required. Proficient in carrying out ELISA/MSD and Luminex cytokine assays to quantitate pro-inflammatory proteins.Basic immunology knowledge includes T cell and B cell biology.
