Job Title: Access Control Technician Location: San Antonio, Texas Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Installer with experience in telecommunications and enterprise-level security systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities * Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. * Install, terminate, test, and maintain hardware from manufacturers such as: * Von Duprin * Assa Abloy * HID * Honeywell * Demonstrate proficiency in installing and servicing: * Mag Locks * Electronic Door Strikes * Card Readers and Keypads * Electric Crash Bars * EREX (Emergency Request to Exit Buttons) * REX (Request to Exit) PIR * Motion Sensors * IP Cameras * NVRs and DVRs * Configure and test enterprise security systems including: * CCTV * Access Control * Intrusion Detection * Video Analytics * IP Network Systems * Visitor Management Systems * Lead project installation teams and ensure quality control. * Provide outstanding customer service and technical support. * Track and report project progress and milestones. Required Skills * Access Control * Security System Installation * CCTV Setup and Maintenance * Alarm System Installation Top Skills * Access Control * Security * CCTV * Alarm Installation Additional Qualifications * Process-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. * Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics. * Solid understanding of internet protocols and networking fundamentals. * Self-motivated and capable of resolving issues independently. * Valid driver's license with a clean MVR. * Certifications in any of the following are a plus: * Honeywell Pro-Watch * Genetec * Openpath * Exacq * 3xLogic * Brivo * Willingness to undergo training and certification (provided by Security 101). * Experience Level - Intermediate * 6 months of Access Control Experience * 1 year or more of Commercial Cabling Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
