Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Global Events to lead our corporate global events team and oversee the planning and execution of high-profile B2B events. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of event management experience and 5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, with a track record of delivering world-class conferences and executive offsites.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of our flagship customer conference, annual sales club offsite, sales kickoff and a portfolio of internal and client-facing events. You'll manage multimillion-dollar budgets, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and build unforgettable experiences that drive business impact.

What You'll Do:

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of global events, including our annual signature customer conference; large-scale, third-party events; sales/company kickoff; and sales club offsite.
  • Oversee a variety of internal and client-focused events that support business goals and elevate brand presence.
  • Ensure every event delivers a high-impact, premium experience aligned with company values.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop an experienced team of event professionals, promoting a culture of innovation, empathy, belonging and accountability.
  • Provide engaged leadership, respectful coaching, and clear growth paths to empower your team and drive exceptional performance.
  • Model integrity, curiosity and openness to build a culture of idea sharing and team cohesion

Budget & Financial Management

  • Oversee and manage multimillion-dollar event budgets, ensuring responsible financial planning and execution.
  • Track expenses, forecast spending, and identify cost efficiencies without compromising quality.

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, ensuring alignment on event objectives, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Deliver clear, concise updates and executive-level briefings on event progress and results.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Build strong relationships with best-in-class vendors, venues, and suppliers.
  • Manage contract negotiations, vendor performance, and end-to-end logistics to ensure exceptional execution.

Innovation & Brand Alignment

  • Innovate event formats, experiences, and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and improve attendee engagement.
  • Ensure every event reflects our company's brand, culture, and commitment to inclusion.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead post-event analysis and reporting, gathering actionable feedback and data insights to optimize future events.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by integrating learnings into strategic planning.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ yearsof B2B event planning experience, with a focus on large-scale conferences and executive-level events.
  • 5+ yearsof experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a leadership style that empowers and inspires teams.
  • Strong communication skills to foster clear expectations and transparency
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-stakes event programs across global audiences.
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and logistics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent life experience.

The salary range for this position is $152,311 - $197,689.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
