The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is Wisconsin's leader in health and science. We inspire hope by discovering life-saving treatments and cures, and we train thousands of the world's most brilliant minds in science and medicine through our academic medical center. We believe the only way to build a healthier world is to build it together, and by investing in the health and vitality of our community, we will improve health for all. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Comprehensive Pain Program in direct partnership with the SpineCare Program at Froedtert and MCW uses a multi-disciplinary team-based approach to treat our patients with complex pain needs. We utilize a wide variety of interventional techniques, from joint injections to state-of-the-art neuromodulation devices. We focus on physical and occupational therapy, non-opioid medication options and behavioral health treatment, including pain-focused biofeedback and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to address our patients' physical and social-emotional needs, with the goal of improving their functionality.
