Shift: The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift. Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work from written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations using a bill of materials, diagrams and assembly drawings. Interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance regarding assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications. Conduct final assembly and functionality test, including mechanical brim assembly, mechanical burn-in using prober, electrical testing using flying prober, final inspections Align, fit, and assemble mechanical /electrical component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes. Analyze and record test results and prepare written testing documentation. Inspect mechanical and electrical parts and hardware in assemblies, using microscopes and other tools. Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds (Chest level). Approximately 90% of the work is performed in Clean room area (Class 10,000). Pay may vary in other locations.
