What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Data Analyst to support Global and Regional Distribution Center operations. You will work cross-functionally with Global Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Planning, Service, Finance, Quality and Facilities to collect, measure, visualize and interpret data; to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and deliver accurate reports to drive decision making
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to improve operational efficiency
  • Acquire and maintain data from multiple sources, ensuring database accuracy and integrity
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data trends to uncover operational opportunities
  • Partner with operations teams to root cause gaps, resolve inefficiencies, and recommend solutions
  • Clean and validate data to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability of reporting
  • Collaborate with Distribution Center and Supply Chain leadership to prioritize business and information needs

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics,or equivalent experience
  • Strong expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Proficiency with reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI), databases (SQL), and programming or ETL frameworks
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience with tools such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to collect, organize, and interpret large datasets with accuracy
  • Skilled in writing queries, building reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders

    Expected Compensation
    • Associate Analyst - $61,200 - $91,800/annual salary
    • Analyst - $79,200 - $118,800/annual salary
    + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
