Job Description

Pay: $23-$25/hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm; hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office/2 days remote)

Full-Time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty, and bereavement leave. JOB SUMMARY:

The Coordinator I, Human Resources (HR) Recruiting plays a key role in supporting inclusive and efficient hiring practices across Goodwill of Colorado. This position collaborates closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers to guide candidates through the hiring process with care, accuracy, and timeliness. The role involves a variety of administrative and coordination tasks that contribute to a positive candidate experience and ensure compliance with organizational policies and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Candidate Tracking and Support:



  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Software (ATS - UKG) to monitor candidate progress throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist candidates with navigating the online application system and ensure the timely completion of pre-employment steps such as offer letters and background checks.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager on escalated background reviews while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.


Recruitment Coordination:



  • Partner with recruitment team and hiring managers to assist with pre-employment activities, including background checks, and onboarding documentation.
  • Communicate proactively with candidates to provide updates and support throughout the hiring journey. Offer assistance across HR functions as needed, contributing to a collaborative and responsive team environment.
  • Embrace flexibility and adaptability by performing additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelors degree or some college is preferred.


Experience:



  • 3 years minimum of recruiting coordination or similar experience is required.
  • Experience working in high volume, fast-paced, customer-facing roles.
  • Experience with Federal Contracts or Affirmative Action Recruitment activities and compliance is a plus.


Other:



  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ATS - UKG is a plus.
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality in all sensitive matters and with all compensation information.
  • Self-driven professionals demonstrate responsiveness and commitment to timely hiring processes.
  • Outstanding organizational skills can work independently, attention to detail while completing repetitive tasks and able to multitask.
  • Flexibility to deal with last-minute changes, the ability to remain calm under pressure, comfortable working with minimal direction, yet a strong collaborative team player.
  • Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, is valued.
  • Overtime and weekend hours may be required; flexibility in schedule as well as some travel to attend meetings, hiring events, and onsite support.
  • The incumbent will be required and must have the ability to drive for company business*.


*Per auto vehicle insurance carrier requirements: For applicants/employees to qualify for inclusion on the Goodwill driver insurance schedule, for purpose of driving Goodwill fleet vehicles, or for purpose of receiving company mileage reimbursement they must be at least:



  • 19 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation),
  • 25 - 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services,
  • 21 years of age for CDL.


Applicants/employee will be required to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check; applicants/employees must disclose all moving traffic violations or vehicle crashes (within the last five (5) years)(Note: not all violations are a disqualification for employment and each case will be reviewed by the insurance carrier); must have valid Colorado State driver license; must also be able to operate company vehicle, and adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws governing vehicle operation.
