What to Expect
The Tooling, Process & Training team is responsible for developing and proliferating custom service,commissioningtoolinghardware to assist in the rapid development, maintenance ofTeslaEnergy's storage and charging solutions along with training of individuals on these solutions. This skilled and motivated individual will work on the training team to help with the delivery and coordination of the new hire and advanced training programs, helpwith content creation and administration, and be a liaison with tooling subject matter experts and the field service team.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver training for troubleshooting and servicing Battery Energy Storage Systems and EV charging equipment, with emphasis on diagnostic signals and alerts from equipment to instruct effective understanding and resolutions
Support development of high-quality, engaging technical content and lab exercises on a wide variety of applications (basic and advanced) for diverse range of learners Effectively/enthusiastically deliver equipment-specific training with detailed knowledge of ECU commands, signals, and data to Field Technicians and Engineers in classroom and field sessions Perform troubleshooting on BESS and SCs at the Tesla Energy Training center and carry out required fixes Work with the customers to understand their event engines & create training content around it
What You'll Bring

Practical experience in maintenance and troubleshooting BESS systems and electrical power distribution with engineering level knowledge Experience creating learning material and leading training sessions to students on complex technical content Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with firmware, software, electrical tools, instruments, and methods applicable to field engineer procedures Experience integrating computer applications into teaching, coding experience a strong plus Deep understanding of electrical system firmware, BESS hardware systems, schematics, and service best practices

Expected Compensation
$60,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
