What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Service Programs) to strengthen Service Engineering's capabilities across our global fleet of Energy and Charging products. This role spans support for both sustaining and new programs within the Deployed Product Lifecycle, ensuring Tesla's products remain reliable, compliant, and serviceable worldwide. The TPM will be responsible for orchestrating large-scale programs that require deep technical engagement, resource mobilization, and systemic risk management. They will partner with engineering, operations, and planning teams to build scalable execution frameworks, align dependencies, and deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, proven program management experience, and the ability to engage technically while delivering scalable processes and solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead high-impact programs ensuring Tesla's Energy and Charging products meet reliability, compliance, and serviceability requirements at scale
- Manage the development of processes, tools, and teams that ensure the long-term health of the global Tesla Energy products portfolio, including developing service procedures and efficiencies, tooling, data analytics and alerting, workflow development, business processes, remanufacturing, design for manufacturability tradeoffs, and return on investment analysis
- Drive a sense of urgency and commitment within a cross-functional team, solving complex problems and facilitating solutions across departmental boundaries and even outside of Tesla
- Track and concisely communicate the process of multiple concurrent projects to diverse audiences
- Own change management for Deployed Part Lifecycle and develop, measure, and innovate processes to efficiently gather and implement feedback from various stakeholders
- Plan for part and product transitions from service, that include key considerations such as upkeep of the Service Bill of Materials (SBOM), warranty, spares/inventory planning, customer communication, and risk analysis
- Drive disciplined communication, alignment, and accountability across global stakeholders
What You'll Bring
6+ years of technical program management or engineering leadership experience in complex, cross-functional environments Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority, align executives, and drive clarity across diverse teams Proficiency with Jira/Confluence or equivalent program management tools Demonstrated success leading ambigious cross-functional programs and delivering outcomes under tight timelines Proven experience in process design and continuous improvement, scaling workflows and tools for global teams Strong operational rigor: resource allocation, risk identification, dependency management, and execution governance - Occasional required travel within the field for hands on testing and data collection

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
