Role Description & Responsibilities

The Dassault Systemes Americas Legal Department provides legal counsel and services for Dassault Systemes in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. As a Legal Intern, you will receive valuable in-house legal experience in various areas, which could include: corporate law, employment law, intellectual property law, ethics and compliance, and more.

We are looking for a law student currently in his/her second (2L) year at an ABA accredited U.S. law school, who will have completed their 2L year by the start date of the internship.

This is a paid internship available for 12 weeks from late May - August 2026. You will be working in the Dassault Systemes Boston campus at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts, with the opportunity for hybrid work.

Role will include:

  • Legal research on relevant topics impacting the Dassault Systemes Americas Legal Department, in areas such as corporate law, employment law, intellectual property law, and ethics and compliance

  • Draft memoranda, presentations and/or trainings for internal clients and/or the Legal Department

  • Other tasks, under the supervision and at the request of a Legal Department team member

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an ABA accredited Juris Doctor degree program, having completed 2 years by the internship start date

  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0

  • Ability to work onsite in the Waltham, MA office (with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule) and available to work full-time (40 hours / week) for the duration of the internship

  • Strong legal research skills with Westlaw or LexisNexis

  • Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in drafting legal memoranda

  • Presentation and public speaking skills are a plus

  • Some coursework, experience or interest in the software industry, corporate law, employment law and/or legal compliance and ethics issues

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while also managing critical deadlines

  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adjust to changes in business requests and deadlines

  • Highly organized, with critical attention to details

  • Ability to build relationships within the Legal Department

  • Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure

  • Positive, self-motivation, high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments

    In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $29 - $30 per hour.
