Location: Little Rock, AR - In person position

Simmons Bank is offering a high-visibility opportunity for recent graduates to join a fast-paced, data-driven environment where your work will directly influence bank strategy and innovation.

This role is part of an Accelerated Career Advancement Program, designed for high-potential individuals who have recently completed a 4-year college degree or graduate program.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, including the Chief Deposit Officer, and gain hands-on experience in data analytics, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.

What You'll Learn & Do

• Learn & understand Simmons Bank's products, services, pricing & fee structures, and how they deliver value to our clients.
• Assist in building and managing portfolio analytics and reporting using PowerBI.
• Learn to query databases using SQL, applying data to real-world bank applications.
• Advocate for product and service improvements by presenting data-backed proposals to senior leadership.
• Gain exposure to financial metrics, including balance sheets and income statements, and prepare reporting, as needed.
• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis for deposit and product proposals.

Qualifications

• A recent or upcoming graduate with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • GPA of 3.5 or above, preferred.
  • Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, or an equivalent technical degree.
• Curious, driven, and excited to learn advanced tools like Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Comfortable working in a high-visibility role with tight deadlines and meaningful impact.
• A strong oral & written communicator who enjoys solving problems and presenting ideas.
• nternship or work experience in portfolio management, pricing management, or data science within financial services, preferred.
