All that we're missing is you. Apply today! About the role QC, QA, and R&D all processes area's throughout Reworld Direct LLC. To insure all inbound and outbound analytical, specs, and procedures of each process area comply and meet requirements. Minimize production cost by means of researching and redeveloping processes areas to meet specifications, as well as increasing and improving production safety. Primary Responsibilities - Major Focus on the Alternative Engineered Fuel "AEF" laboratory portion of the business. Insure the development of all AEF blended recipes meet our off-take partners blend specifications. QC/QA all inbound and outbound production analytical to insure all product specifications are met in compliance. QC/QA all inbound raw materials meet analytical specifications to insure quality of all production. Analysis of all potential sales samples to insure they meet analytical requirement for acceptance into the ASF (BLDG) program. Entering analytical data into cloud, google drive, and hard copy laboratory books. Participate in preparation of all Analytical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), calibration, maintenance, and purchasing of Laboratory equipment. Such equipment included but are not limited to are (As related to the ASF program) Lab Grinder - Shredder Parr Calorimeter Parr oxygen vessels, fuse wires and crucibles. Analytical Balance Moisture Balance Lab Oven, heaters, oil & water pH Meters Seta Flash detector Karl Fischer Moisture Titration Log Books and record keeping Viscometer XRF hand held Centrifuge GC -Gas Chromatography Distillation columns Specific Duties Building A: Engineered Fuel Program Log in of all incoming samples and coordinate with Operations Management / Lab Director on possible fuel usage and value. Determine and evaluate potential of subject fuel as to whether it may be a candidate for onsite engineered fuels program. Manage and retain all production samples in laboratory. Test each trailer load of AEF produced for BTU /lb, %Cl, and moisture content. Sample all liquid fuel subjects entering Building A for water concentration, BTU/lb, %Cl, pH, and Flash Point. Inspection of all new waste stream trials along with laboratory analysis. Inspection of existing waste streams unloaded into Alternative Engineered Fuel processing area. Determine potential inbound fuels to be accepted or denied for not meeting partnered blend specification requirements (BTU, %Cl specs, etc.). Analysis of sales samples accompanied by written MDFs (Material Description Form) from potential waste stream generators. Keep constant with production personnel for updates on loads of materials, changes in waste stream, and potential hazards/problems. Collecting and updating all customer SDS's. Operation of XRF XL2 700 analyzer in order to scan inbound/potential waste streams for chloride content. To continuously access the operation of the AEF program and make recommendations on any and all ideas of ways to improve safety, production efficiencies and continuous improvements. Insure that all outbound AEF blended recipes meet Reworld Direct's partner blend specifications, by means of QC analysis and Mass Balance record keeping. Participate in monthly safety meetings with various topics pertaining to KD employees. Typical analysis included but are not limited to are, BTU /lb %Cl lbs /gal %Ash Flash Point - Seta Flash Centrifuge %Moisture - KF %Solids pH Samples to various kilns for approval and profiling Samples to outside laboratories for characteristics and or Haz constituents QUALIFICATIONS:
