- Conduct thorough product inspections using work instructions, checklists, and technical drawings.
- Prioritize tasks based on direction from Operations Supervisors to meet departmental goals.
- Identify and document non-conforming products.
- Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Ensure all NCRs are resolved before finalizing inspections.
- Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, and tools to verify product compliance.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of experience in quality processes and Quality Management Systems (preferred).
- 1+ year of experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools (preferred).
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMM, optical comparators, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across departments.
- Ability to interpret and apply ISO and Quality System documentation.
- Quick learning ability with various test and measurement equipment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid math and geometry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Pay Transparency nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Shift: Multiple shifts open Friday - Sunday, Saturday - Monday, Saturday/Sunday Compensation Range: $21.34-$31.88 WE HAVE:
