Job Description:

The Role

As a Product Engineer II at Entegris in Colorado Springs, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of high-performance, injection molded microenvironments for the Semiconductor industry. This includes conceptualization, design, and development of new products, as well as supporting the product through validation, launch, and ongoing support after release. This role blends product development, engineering analysis, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, reliable, and clean solutions to our global customers.

What You'll Do

  • Design and developnew and derivative products using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks/Creo), delivering manufacturable solutions that meet high standards of quality and performance.

  • Build and iterateon proof-of-principle prototypes to explore design concepts, solve technical challenges, and accelerate innovation.

  • Apply engineering analysistools such as FEA, CFD, and mold flow to validate designs and guide data-driven decisions throughout the development process.

  • Develop and executetest plans that ensure product reliability and readiness for manufacturing, learning from both successes and setbacks to improve future outcomes.

  • Partner closely withmanufacturing, quality, and product management teams to support new product introductions and pilot builds, aligning efforts to shared goals and timelines.

  • Provide ongoing supportfor released products, including troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and customer issue resolution, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

  • Investigate product issuesusing structured problem-solving methods, communicating findings clearly and constructively across teams.

  • Maintain accurate andthorough technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change records, to support cross-functional collaboration and long-term product success.

  • Plan, lead, and manage small to mid-sized projects developing schedules, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring on-time delivery while keeping stakeholders informed.

  • Continuously seek opportunitiesto improve product performance, development processes, and team collaboration, embracing new ideas and approaches that drive outcomes.

  • Collaborate with globalteams across time zones, building strong working relationships and contributing to a culture of mutual respect, shared accountability, and continuous learning.

What We Seek

  • Passion for making great products and solving complex technical problems to meet customer needs.

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 2-6 years of experience in product design, development, or R&D.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.

  • Experience and desire to design plastic injection molded products.

  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or Creo) and engineering analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, tolerancing, and statistical validation.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures.

  • Willingness to travel globally (~10%).

  • Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
