Job Description

As Communications Manager, you will support company internal and external communications efforts. You'll influence employee engagement, plan and produce executive and company-wide meetings, create content for HR-focused programs, and enhance our internal and external reputation through thoughtful and consistent messaging.

You'll work with our employee engagement team, our employee survey leadership team and our Human Resources (HR) teams to deliver meaningful content. Through this partnership, you will create communications designed to improve the employee experience. You will work with leaders across the company, in locations around the world, to make meaningful, positive change, connecting people to our culture, each other, and to our strategy. You will use data to inform your decisions and storytelling to engage those around you.

You will report to the Senior Manager, External Communications, and be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Employee Engagement and Internal & External Communications Support
    • Lead planning and execution of employee engagement communication campaign supporting our annual employee engagement survey, including survey launch messaging, results communication, and follow-up action plans in partnership with HR and senior leadership.
    • Create compelling content for internal channels including our intranet/digital workspace, leadership messages, newsletters, announcements, and digital monitors.
    • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to support culture-building programs and change management efforts.
    • Support special projects such as our annual Sustainability Report, including content management and editing, photo shoot support, and report promotion.
    • Manage records and external messaging including leadership bios and photos, and website content.
    • Support external special projects including advertisements and review of external presentations.
    • Manage development and updates for communications policies and procedures documents.
  • Human Resources & Office of General Counsel Leadership Support
    • Support planning and communications support for quarterly global employee town hall meetings, including run-of-show documents, talking points, presentations, and post-event messaging. Work with executive leadership and event production teams to produce hybrid meetings.
    • Develop communication plans, messaging, and announcements for organizational changes and leadership appointments.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in mass communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • 3 years' experience in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a range of communication roles; This can include corporate, agency or consulting experiences involving strategic planning and tactical implementation, creative and conceptual communications, project management, or business-focused employee communications roles.
  • Experience developing multi-channel communications and change management programs.
  • Prior experience in measurement or survey work.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to navigate a complex, global organization.
