As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service with strong communication skills. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the healthcare environment.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel if required during incidents or emergencies.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• You must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations for hospital assignments.
• You must be able to work in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required by the client.
• You must be able to assist in restraining individuals in a hospital environment as required by the client.
• You must have a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
