As a Security Officer - Residential Complex in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting government locations by conducting routine patrols and being a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with people on-site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents as per Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary to assist with incident response.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
