As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across campus grounds and facilities, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, assist individuals with inquiries, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the educational location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or incident reports as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
