The Product Manager will lead the definition and delivery of analytics, dashboards, and reporting across the entire Optum Real platform. This role is responsible for managing the product roadmap, backlog, and execution of analytics capabilities that span multiple phases, technical layers, and stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will bring deep RCM domain expertise, strong product ownership skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, UX, data science, and business teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Strategy & Execution
    • Define and deliver end-to-end analytics, dashboards, and reporting for the Optum Real platform
    • Ensure analytics systems validate value delivery, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement
    • Collaborate with data and engineering teams to implement scalable, intelligent analytics solutions
  • Product Ownership
    • Own the Optum Real analytics roadmap and backlog across multiple product phases and user journeys
    • Conduct grooming sessions, prioritize features, and manage sprint planning and delivery
    • Align deliverables with business value, stakeholder needs, and technical feasibility-across all Optum Real milestones
  • RCM Expertise
    • Apply deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle including 835/837 files, denial management, payer-provider workflows, and autonomous billing
    • Ensure analytics align with industry standards and support operational and financial performance
  • Product Analytics & Telemetry
    • Define and validate telemetry signals across product and technical layers
    • Use Splunk and Adobe Analytics to monitor API latency, user behavior, feature usage, and platform performance
    • Partner with engineering and analytics teams to ensure observability and actionable insights
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and align on analytics priorities
    • Present dashboards and insights in leadership demos, working sessions, and product reviews
    • Serve as a trusted partner across engineering, UX, data science, and vendor teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management analytics and/or enterprise SaaS platforms
  • 5 + years of relevant experience in healthcare
  • 3+ years of RCM lifecycle, EMR integrations, and AI-first product development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Splunk, Adobe Analytics, and Power BI
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Management certification
  • Agile development methodology

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
