Job Title: Intern, Accounting

Location: Conyers, GA

What we're looking for:

We are looking for an Accounting Intern. Our accounting internship will be structured as an entry level opportunity with an aspect of project-based deliverables related to operational finance / accounting milestones and continuous improvement. This role will assist accounting management with skill and experience level appropriate research, modeling, design, and/or accounting process documentation with existing workflows with increasing complexity. This role is a gateway position to joining our finance team in the future, and as such you will have the opportunity for multiple skip level discussions with finance leadership related to personal development and long-term fit.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

You will be guided by structural goals and objectives and will have a responsibility to deliver on both daily / monthly tasks as well as your project(s). Your manager will offer coaching, mentoring, and direction.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Enrollment in Bachelor of Accounting degree program
  • 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, with a 3.0 GPA in core accounting classes
  • Rising Junior to rising Senior Level Progressing towards a Bachelor's degree in accounting

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • 3.5 GPA in core accounting classes
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking, using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking
  • Basic GAAP knowledge commensurate with your level of education completed
  • Effective research and communication skills
  • Effective with written and oral communications, and proficient at building collaborative relationships
  • Problem solving - being able to solve complex problems effectively and efficiently employing business acumen and sound judgement
