Position Summary

Oceaneering is seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the role of Strategic Partnerships. This position involves designing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive growth in the domestic and international space markets . You will identify and engage potential partners and manage key relationships while supporting the deal process.
Collaboration with internal teams to develop joint go-to-market plans and track partnership performance is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or corporate strategy, with knowledge of the space market. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at the executive level are crucial.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Create and implement a partnership roadmap that supports the company's expansion goals across civil, commercial, and defense sectors, including domestic and international.
  • Partner Sourcing & Activation: Research and evaluate potential collaborators by studying industry trends, competitive dynamics, and client demands. Actively initiate, onboard, and oversee strategic partner relationships.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and sustain meaningful connections with leaders and decision-makers at partner organizations to ensure shared objectives and mutual commitment.
  • Market Execution: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to roll out campaigns and other strategies which ultimately add to the partnerships pipeline.
  • Performance Measurement: Define success metrics for partnerships and deliver regular, data-backed updates to leadership on progress, activities, and outcomes.
  • Industry Insight: Act as a thought leader on market dynamics and the broader partnership landscape, offering strategic input that shapes company direction and product strategy.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of these areas: strategic partnerships, business development, account management, corporate strategy, or a related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully structuring and negotiating complex, multi-year partnership agreements that have driven measurable revenue growth.
  • Comfortable engaging with C-suite leaders.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. government security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or higher)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
