Your Title: Application Customer Support

Job Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

Hours: M-F 9am-6pm EST

Our Division: Architects, Engineers, Construction and Owners (AECO)

What You Will Do

As an Application Customer Support specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing essential support for six key products. You'll interface internally with a supportive team application specialists and your direct manager, and externally with a diverse range of customers, from end-users to IT professionals.

  • Serve as a vital liaison between customers and Trimble, providing enterprise-level support for products and services.

  • Answer customer inquiries through various channels, including phone support (50%), email, chat, and screensharing.

  • Resolve issues, coordinate escalation procedures, and contribute to the delivery of support, training, and other related processes.

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure the effective use of applications.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Prior experience in a customer service or customer support role.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Tolerance of ambiguity and a desire to learn.

  • Ability to work within clearly defined standard operating procedures.

  • Comfortable with constant phone or chat interactions.

  • Familiarity with working on multiple monitors and using screen-sharing tools like Zoom (bonus).

Bonus points if you have:

  • General knowledge of the construction industry (through education or experience).

  • Experience in HR management systems or ERP systems.

  • Troubleshooting web-based applications, cloud-hosted services, or SaaS.

About Your Location

This is a hybrid position based in Knoxville, TN requiring 3-4 days in the office, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
