For more information, visit Worley.com Purpose of the Role The HSE Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Worley's mission of delivering a more sustainable world by fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. This position provides field and administrative support to site teams and leadership, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements. Through coaching, inspections, and proactive engagement, this role drives safe operations, positive workforce morale, and alignment with Worley's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and administrative support to project teams and Worley leadership for all health, safety, and environmental initiatives. Conduct employee onboarding sessions to review safety expectations and reinforce company values. Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards. Record, investigate, and report all incidents, injuries, and near-misses accurately and promptly, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Deliver field coaching and communicate safety requirements effectively to promote employee engagement, safe work practices, and a supportive work environment. Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into daily operations. Prepare and present reports, observations, and recommendations to leadership to drive continuous improvement and proactive risk management. Contribute to Worley's sustainability goals by ensuring environmental compliance and supporting initiatives that minimize the impact of operations. Support the implementation and maintenance of systems, processes, and tools necessary to meet project-specific HSE requirements. Provide mentorship or guidance to junior personnel as required to strengthen the team's overall safety culture.
Qualifications / Skillset
Technical school graduate with relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental support, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Proven ability to conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage, persuade, and influence diverse stakeholders through clear verbal and written communication. Competence in preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and recommendations to leadership teams. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to exercise judgment in selecting work methods and ensuring compliance with project-specific procedures. Demonstrated ability to detect errors and perform self-checks for accuracy and quality of work. Basic understanding of HSE systems, processes, and digital tools, with willingness to develop deeper expertise. Collaborative approach to problem-solving and commitment to building positive relationships across teams. Ability to work under general supervision, follow established procedures, and adapt to changing project needs.
