JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all aspects of low to moderate complexity contract development and maintenance, including amendments, assignments and assumptions, letters of agreement, statements of work etc. This job is also responsible for analyzing existing contracts to ensure compliance with and adherence to the underlying terms and conditions. In addition, this position is responsible for contract compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, practices, and standards for analyzing detailed information and determining trends.


JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Draft various types of contracts, amendments, and other documents, including reviewing client originated documents, to meet the needs of the Company and its clients.
2. Drive the document creation, review, and execution process from start to finish, including establishing and managing to agreed-upon timelines for multiple documents at one time.
3. Conduct audits of current signed agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness which may also include identifying outlier language or nonstandard terms. Identify contractual language changes and trends that can impact other areas of company.
4. Ensure adherence to Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as standards of production and quality.
5. Maintain contract database including the scanning and posting of contracts to shared website as well as creating and maintaining client legal folders. This includes providing appropriate redline documents, draft documents or fully executed copies to clients, internal departments, and payors.
6. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and all departments at all levels. Conduct meetings; create meeting notes and action items, as necessary.
7. Assist departments and serve as subject matter expert for sales staff regarding questions/issues related to contracts, including but not limited to, the interpretation of language contract forms and other requirements.
8. Research contractual questions/issues using multiple internal resources.
9. Identify items for additional approval, secure and appropriately document approvals.
10. Identify and present opportunities for process improvement.
11. Maintain, track and report on the status of contracts and amendments from creation through execution.
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and fraud, waste and abuse regulations and requirements.
13. Demonstrate Company's core competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: This position works under general supervision in a self-directed and results oriented manner. This position works within established standards and procedures, relying on a broad range of knowledge gained through experience to complete job responsibilities. This position manages the contracting process and is considered to be a fully competent professional who knows and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to the creation of client contracts. Work involves contracts of low to moderate complexity, typically with more complex issues referred to higher levels. An incumbent will receive higher complexity issues under guidance of supervisor.


COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $47k-$57k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
