As a Security Professional Access Control Specialist in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment, while you assist with access control procedures and respond to any security-related concerns. This position requires driving responsibilities, so you will be expected to operate a vehicle as part of your duties. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors on a daily basis. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Support other security-related duties as assigned to maintain a secure and professional environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required, and applicants must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
