Inbound Operations Supervisor

The Inbound Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the external transportation network for productive parts delivery to the facility. This role indirectly supports daily production, the Inbound Operations Supervisor works with the Corporate Logistics team to develop Just In Time (JIT) delivery routes to meet plant scheduled production requirements. The Inbound Operations Supervisor is also responsible for manpower management of Salaried Bargaining Shipping and Receiving Linkers. The Inbound Operations Supervisor participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Production Way activities.



  • Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership
  • Responsible for Yard Management activities including routine yard reconcile checks, resolving damaged trailer incidents and yard capacity and safety
  • Responsible for representing the plant interest in JIT Calls with Corporate Logistics, Suppliers and Carriers
  • Responsible for managing the Common Ship and Delivery Schedule (CSDS) to generate accurate production requirements
  • Responsible for Manpower Management including Salary Bargaining Employee absenteeism, training, performance and Stellantis Production Way Involvement

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Public Speaking Skills


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 18 Months Experience in prior Manufacturing or Supervisory role
  • Previous experience working in a union environment
  • Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
